Career Change
After almost 11 years, I've decided its time to move on from MarketStar and take a new role at a different company. Marketstar has been so good to us and represents a big part of who we are and what we've done these last 11 years. We've made so many good friends through this company and done so many amazing things. I was brought to Marketstar by Dave Horchem and Scott Wilson, who I had worked with at APEX alarm (now Vivint). Boys- you are ALWAYS interviewing for your next job- leave a good impression and it will pay off!!!! At the time, they had just hired my good Friend Ammon Condie to join us. After working with them in a few roles over a few years running partner sales and support operations teams, I was able to move over leading sales teams on the HPE side our our business. After about a year, I got my dream job as the Business Manager that was responsible for managing the key client relationships and driving sales performance through our HPE sales teams of about 150 sales reps. That is where the job got REALLY great and we started to do things that our family will always remember, we loved going on all of those trips that were memorialized on this blog!! A couple of years ago, HPE made the decision to offshore most of those jobs to Mexico. Most people were laid off. I was fortunate enough to stay on, eventually leading other teams for Cisco and Vonage. Ultimately, it's time to move on and I've accepted a new role at Global Medical Staffing as a leader on their Psychiatry team. We'll see how it goes. Cheers to new chapters!
