Hansen Family Campout

This last week was the Hansen family camp out. It was held at Mutual Dell in A.F. canyon. We stayed in a lodge that they have up there. My dad put in a lot of work to put this together. Cass and I went up on Thursday after work, just in time for dinner. After dinner we played with bows and arrow's.

Ashli was up there with her boys but went down to my parents after dinner. (she went home for Texas the next day) That night we all slept in the lodge. The freezer in the kitchen kicked on every 5-10 minutes with the loudest sound. It woke everyone up every time. what a wonderful night. (It was loud enough to wake my dad up, who was sleeping outside) The next morning we launched rockets and rode the zip line.

Please notice in Cassidy's pic, she looks comfortable and is smiling. Her harness fit her correctly.
Now notice the pic below, I got the "special harness", while I was going down the zip line, I held my self up with the bar that was above me. At the bottom of the line, no one could get me down and I was hanging by my "own equipment" if you get my drift. It was the most unpleasant pain I have been in in a long time. Slade/Bridger/McCoy may be an only child.

While we were up there, my sister Emily was kind enough to take some pictures of us. Look at Cassidy's belly. Mine is still bigger, but not by as much.

The kids loved acting like they were taking our orders. Matt and Liz and their family came up that evening in time for dinner. After dinner on Friday, Cassidy and I went home, and due to the noise coming from the freezer, eventually so did everyone else.

Thanks for all the fun everyone.

You guys look very cute, especially Cass. And Nate, you need to be proud that you are blogging, it is entirely too dominated by women. We need to hear from the guys. Just so you know, my brother and my boy cousin both blog all the time.

I agree. Nice to have the male influence in the blogging world. Welcome Nate. We're glad you're here.

I love Mutual Dell. I didn't realize just how much I miss it up there until I saw your pictures. You guys are lucky to have such an amazing family that does cool things.

Have fun in Cancun.

Abe Ford.
