Clash of the Titans

Who would win in a fight between Optimus Prime and THE INCREDIBLE HULK?

Of course the Hulk would easily stomp on optimus, especially if someone made Hulk mad.
Last night we had our friend Halloween party. The Condies hosted it and Liz went above and beyond in hosting. It was (from left to right) the Condies, the Condies, us, the Pridays, and the Horchems. The costumes had to be homemade, which came naturally to us (we are way too cheap to buy a costume to wear one time).

We had Chili for dinner, and carved pumpkins. We were going to bob for apples, but the pumpkin carving took too long.

Cass carved "The Boogie Man" from Nightmare before Christmas, and I carved Eddie Murphy. I know that you can't see it in the picture, which is probably good, because you couldn't tell anyway.
It was a great night and we always have fun with our friends. In high school we got to dress up all the time, now this is the only time of year that we get to dress up, so I think that we all look forward to it.

I love all your costumes! I thought that Dave's was pretty original, and I'm having a hard time believing that Ammon's mask was really homemade. But everyone looks so great, especially Cass, so cute! I am sad we missed the halloween party this year.

It was such a fun party! Cass still looks like a freakin rock star. She looks so good.

Here's the Oreo Ball directions:
1 pkg. Cream Cheese
1 pkg. Oreos
1-2 tsp. flavoring of choice
2 pkgs. chocolate chips

Mix crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. The easiest way to do this is just to get your hands in there and mix it up! Add your flavoring (I use almond extract to give it that little cherry flavor. And I probably use a little more than a tsp. I don't measure. I just put it in til it smells delicious). Roll 'em up into balls about the size of a nickel. Meanwhile, melt some chocolate over very low heat. DON'T STIR THE CHOCOLATE and keep it low so it doesn't burn. Drop the Oreo balls you made into the chocolate, cover it with the chocolate, then remove it and put it on a cutting board covered in wax paper. Refrigerate or freeze.

We are so sad that we couldn't be there! I love our Halloween Parties. I doubt Abe and I will even dress up this year because we have no plans...
You guys all looked great. Tell Cass that she is a very cute little pregnant woman. She pulls it off better than most. Miss you guys!
