Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. I have cut a new notch in my belt for my ever expanding waist, and it is now time for the day after sale. I am not embarrassed to admit that Cass and I have hit this sale for the past 4 years. This year was a little different with her being pregnant and all, but she really wanted to go, and I (being the worlds biggest cheap skate) could not pass up on the good deals. So we spent some time yesterday looking through the ads. Neither of us could really find anything we liked or needed.
Alas, this morning, we got up and hit up 4 stores. 1st we hit up Shopko. They opened at 5:00 a.m. We had all of our stuff and were out of the store by 5:02. We then went to Target where we met my parents to wait in line. They opened at 6:00. After getting our stuff there, We went to K-mart. Inside K-mart, the line for the register wrapped all the way around the inside of the store. Luckily, we had a secret weapon. Cass asked the manager if there was anything that we could do because she was too pregnant to wait in line. Rather than telling her to wait in the car. we were rushed to the front of the store and on our way.

Some guys may be ashamed to admit that they went shopping at 5:00 am, but while I DO hate shopping, I am a cheap skate, and that is a title that I will be proud of.
By the way... Since we could not find anything that we "had to have" in the ads, we came home with our trunk full of stuff that we don't need. It leads me to ask the question "who wears the pants in this marriage?"

Dylan thinks the last picture on this post is a "Rock Star Place" and you were not shopping, maybe just "watching a rock star".
Way to get the deals and make mom proud. Too bad Emily also went out this morning, otherwise maybe you could have moved up on the favorites list...
You guys are nuts. And those purple pants were priceless. I'm still shaking my head. I'm excited for tomorrow! Hope you both have been warming up your smiler muscles!
I was surprised that Cass went, but not you - I knew you were way to cheap to miss it. At least Cass's pregnancy was good for something - a cut in line.
Cass! (and Nate), I am so excited that you guys have a blog! Yeah!!! I am even more excited that you are pregnant and due in like 8 days.. Congrats!!! It sounds like things are going great.
