This weekend was a great weekend. We finally blessed Bridger. We have been waiting til' winter was over to bless him (good thing it snowed all day) for RSV season to be over so that we could take him to church.
Thanks to everyone for braving the elements to come out for the blessing and to those of you who came over to the house after. It was good to get so many of the people that we care about under 1 roof.
We wanted to apologize to everyone for not letting you hold Bridger. We know that some of you wanted to hold him. I guess now you will have to come back and visit us!
We have been teaching Bridger to read lately. He does okay with smaller books, and really enjoys reading Harry Potter to us. He is having a hard time with his R's but other than that, he does pretty good.

I knew I could count on you to get your blessing photos posted right away! It's true, for those of us who wanted to hold (and actually see) him, these photos are as good as it gets. but from one germ-phobe to another, I understand.
Nate, your blessing was beautiful and Cass your testimony was so nice. Great job yesterday! Thanks for letting us be a part of it.
I love the huge smile on Bridgers face. He is so cute. Its probably a relief that it is all over with. Now you can relax and enjoy. Thanks again for inviting us to the blessing. It was wonderful!
I bet he does a great Voldemort voice. I need to hear that.
The blessing day is such a great day so yay for having it! You all look great, but the little one is the cutest of all of you, sorry.
It was really nice - thanks for doing it a little earlier than you would have liked so that I could attend. And yes, I was sad that I didn't get to hold him. For the record, I've only held him twice.
Cass, it is smart that you are teaching your son to read early so if you and Nate age too quickly and lose your eyesight or go senile at the age of 30, at least your child will be able to read to you. He is so cute and I am sure he is as smart as a whip.
He is adorable! And you look great! He is growing up already. Enjoy it while you can because it all happens so fast!
