Called to serve

This last Wednesday, my youngest brother Landon went into the MTC for his mission. He is going to be serving the Lord for 2 years in Honduras. We are so excited for him and we know that he will do a great job. We will for sure miss him and his funny personality while he is gone, but we are thrilled that he has the desire to serve.


















The week before he left, we decided to go hike Timp. caves with Landon and my Dad. We got there around 9:30 am. When we got to the ticket window, we were told that there was a 3.5 hour wait and that we would be starting the hike at 1:00 pm. LAME. So we decided to go and walk around Cascade Springs instead. Which, it turned out, was much better suited for an out of shape fatty like myself.













On this last Monday we all went over to my parents house to have a good-bye party for landon. We also had some pictures to take. This is Landon with all the Grandkids. He is hands down the favorite uncle to all of them. He helps them with video games, and none of the kids seem to mind when he is mean to him.












My sister Ashli was able to come home from Texas to say good bye, so we were fortunate enough to have all of the kids home for a while. The picture below is my parents and all the siblings. We did also take some family pictures, but they are not done yet,. I will put up the picture up when we get it wrapped up.
