The week of Halloween

This last week was a pretty busy one.
On Thursday night we had our friends Halloween party at the Pridays. We do this party every year. In the past I have made an effort to go with a homemade costume, but this year I got lazy and borrowed a costume. Cass in the other had dressed as Jessie so that she would match me, and she put it together on her own. I think that next year, I am going to have to be something easy and comfortable. It is hard to tell in this picture, but Bridger was a sock monkey puppet. We took pictures, had dinner, and carved pumpkins. Kali made the best pork burritos that I have ever had.

After we took this picture, almost everyone took off their costumes so we could breathe, and carve our pumpkins.

On Friday, we had a big party at work. All the wives and kids came in to trick-or-treat through the cubicles. My work was even nice enough to provide candy for the kids. It is crazy how gung-ho Market Star goes for Halloween.

Then on Saturday, we went to my parents house for a party with the grandkids. It was fun to watch the kids go crazy playing the games that my parents made up. Sadly though, Me, Cass and Derek were the only ones that were cool enough to dress up. I like to think that if Ashli were there that she would have dressed up also.

I am glad that Halloween is over. It is way to much work for a holiday that I am too old to benifit from anymore, and too young to steal the hard earned candy that my kid has collected. and worse yet, I know that anyday Cass will bust out the Christmas music in the car. it begins....

I have been a slacker on reading blogs, so I am just catching up now. I loved the Halloween costumes. And Bridger, so CUTE! Also, your St George blog was hilarious. "She pulled out the buffet for her new born baby" :D What a sight. I am still laughing hysterically. Anyways, It sounds like you guys are doing well. We need to get together soon. :D
