One of the presents that we gave him was this leap frog table. He loves to crawl under it just as much or more than he likes to play with it.
We had seen that people make a cake for their kids, and they make a huge mess with it. We thought that for sure this was something that Bridger would go for. We got plastic laid out on the floor and everything. To our surprise he just picked at it. 1/2 of the mess that was made, was us smearing it on his face for the sake of creating a funny picture.
After cake, my parents came over to give Bridger some more gifts.
I have no clue why we are even bothering with Christmas after this. No matter how many toys we give him, his favorite will still be playing with my hats and banging spatulas on the kitchen floor.
We love you Bridger and are so happy that you are part of this family.

Ha! Happy Birthday Bridger! We remember seeing you a few days after you were born. I love that you guys forced his messy face. You are actually lucky that he is not so messy yet, Will has no qualms about that. And seriously, I feel like sometimes buying toys is such a waste of money because they play with them for like a second and then lose interest. Although the older Will gets, the longer he plays with them, so there's hope.
I cannot believe he is one already. How time flies! he is so adorable and looks like such a happy kid. Good job you two!
Happy Birthday Bridger. I can't believe you are already 1. Time Flies. Well Cass and Nate, I guess it's time for another one. :D I agree with the whole Birthday in December and Christmas thing. It would definitely be cruel, but so much easier just to combine the two. Colton thought it was his birthday all month. But...What can you do. Actually...I guess restrain from you know what the whole month of March, then you don't have to worry about it. :D
