Arizona

At the beginning of June we had the chance to go to Mesa to visit TJ and Ashli for a few days. Aaron Ferguson needed someone to drive his car home, so we drove it back and he helped with the cost of the trip. It was a great win-win. Although, in retrospect June may not be the optimum time to visit AZ.
Bridger loved the plane ride, but insisted on keeping the windows shut.
We went to this awesome ghost town. It was pretty sweet. They had a ton of buildings, and a great little burger joint.

There are a lot of community swimming pools in the area, which was great because it was freaking hot. Good thing that our boys are scared of the water.

This picture cracks me up for some reason
We heard great things about the Lego store. Not impressed... but we did get our pictures taken with Batman and Superman.
This game was possibly the highlight of the trip. You split into teams and throw socks on the other teams side for a certain amount of time. The team with the most socks when the time is up is the loser. Pretty simple, but I kid you not it was very fun.
Our boys are obsessed with their cousins Tayt and Grady. They could not get enough of them. It did not hurt that they had more super hero toys than you could shake a stick at.
While we were there, we were fortunate enough to go to Rudy's BBQ in Scottsdale. It was heaven on earth.
TJ was nice enough to let Bridger and I tag along with him and his boys to America's pastime to watch a  D-backs game for Starwars night. Bridger thought it was awesome..until the game started, then he just wanted to play on my phone (HIS favorite pastime).
As it turns out, I forgot how many peanuts there are a a baseball game. They were everywhere! I spent a good chunk of time cleaning the seats off so Bridger did not touch anything (forgot the epie pen)

It was a great trip and we really miss Ash and TJ. I wish they lived closer. On the way home we stopped in St. George for the night to stay with Cassidy's family. It was a nice stop and good to hang out with the Bringhursts and the Browns for a day before getting home.

Looks like the trip was fun! I don't think I would have thought of the peanuts either, what a pain!
