Projects

We've been wanting to get some projects accomplished on our house, the first on the list: pour cement. I want to fence in the yard and Nate insisted that we pour cement first to make a basketball court for the boys. It turned out great and I'm really excited about it.
The grass torn out and the ground level.
 Our neighbor poured the cement
 Nate making the first hand-print
Mine was second
Bridger third. My dad happened to be in town, which made it extra fun
McCoy thought it was really cool
I love this picture!

We also decided to get a swing set for the boys to enjoy from Toys-R-Us
4 hours later the swing set was finally completed. The boys enjoy playing on it but maybe not as much as we thought they would. They really got a big kick out of playing in the box. At least they have something to go outside and play on!

We also redid the kitchen counter and back splash. Below is the before picture:

We are happy with the way it turned out. We got a granite sink which we love and we are really enjoying the granite.

It's so nice to get projects done! I love the kitchen, and the cement is a nice perk. And I'm sure your kids will spend plenty of time on the swing set!
