In the middle of November, MarketStar treated us to a dream vacation in California!! We stopped overnight in St. George on the way going and coming home. From STG we headed straight to Carlsbad. We checked into the hotel and changed our clothes to enjoy the beach. This was the first time the boys had been to the beach and they loved it!! They loved running from the waves, drawing in the sand and being beach bums!
The next day we surprised the boys with a day at LegoLand! We had heard mixed reviews but we would give it two thumbs up. We were able to meet Emmett, which was the highlight for the boys! They had transported the Lego movie set to Legoland, which was "awesome" to see. We also loved walking through the cities they had created out of legos.
The following day we enjoyed the BEST day in Disneyland!!! First, the boys were able to walk hand-in-hand with Peter Pan throughout the park. Second, they were both chosen at the Jedi Training and were able to fight Darth Vader. Finally, Bridger was able to be Thor's special helper and return his hammer back to him.
The last day we spent it in California Adventure! The park was crowded this day but we were able to enjoy all the magic! We hadn't ever been at Christmas time before, which made it extra fun!!
