For our 10 year anniversary we decided to celebrate it on a cruise through the Bahamas. We invited our friends the Sincich's to join us, we were so glad they did! We flew to Orlando the day before and enjoyed a beautiful condo, thanks to Cameron's sister. We grabbed dinner and enjoyed some intense card games (which we ended up doing most nights on the cruise). We drove our rental car back and boarded the Royal Caribbean ship, Enchantment of the Sea. The first day was a ton of sailing so we ate, people watched and explored the ship. The highlight was Nate competing in the game "Finish that Lyric" his song was "Wannabe" by Spice Girls. He didn't advance but he gave it a great effort.
Day 2: When we ported in Nassau we met a guy who told us the best place to go was Love Beach (I was really skeptical, but it turned out great) We enjoyed the afternoon snorkeling, it not being crowded and loving the beautiful waters and sand. This ended up being my favorite part of the trip. That night was formal night on the boat. It was fun to dress up and feel fancy.
Day 3: The last stop was at Coco Cay, Royal Caribbeans private island. It was nice to get off the boat and already be on the beach. They provided a BBQ on the island, which made it really convenient. We did more snorkeling, found shells for the kids and lounged in the beach chairs for hours. It was heavenly.
Day 4: The ship was eager to get us off the boat, so we were up bright and early to get going. It took awhile to get through customs and get a rental car. We headed to Universal Studios to see if we could get an hour pass into Harry Potter world. We had no such luck, they only sold day passes, which we didn't want to pay for. We walked around in the scorching heat and had lunch and then went to the airport. We had a great trip and were grateful to Nate's family for watching the boys for us!!! We came home to the banner the boys had made with Megan Harmon, so sweet!
