Nate and Cameron have recently been released from the Young Men presidency and they had taken off time from work to go on high adventure. Since they already had the time off and they didn't have to go anymore we decided to take our families on a vacation to Eden. My back was feeling pretty well and there was only one more week of summer left, we wanted to enjoy it!
On Wednesday we loaded up the vans and headed straight to Ogden to the Dinosaur Park. The kids loved mining for gold, playing on the playground and checking out the life-size dinosaurs. We stopped and had a yummy dinner at Carlos & Harley's Mexican restaurant in Eden. We rented a house in Eden through Airbnb which gave us plenty of room to play and sleep. That night we had a fire in the backyard with a yummy smore bar.
The next morning we headed to Pineview Reservoir to enjoy a day playing in the water. Adam Stuart, a friend I had gown up with in Price, lives in Eden and was kind enough to let us borrow his kayaks and paddle-boards for a few days. That night Nate set-up the projector and we watched a movie in the backyard.
Friday morning before we headed for the water, we enjoyed a small stroll/hike in the the mountains near the house. We then had another great day playing in the water!! Bridger never got off the paddle-board once during the day, he loved it!! This picture of McCoy is so funny because he came and told us he really needed to use the restroom and before we could get him somewhere to go he peed right there looking at us. That night we played Pie-face, which made us laugh pretty hard! We then did a rally of ping-pong and air-hockey (this house had everything!!)
Saturday morning while Mindy and I packed-up and cleaned, Nate and Cam took the kids fishing. They didn't have much luck but they a good time.
We had such a fun time with the Sincich's in Eden!! Our families got along great and this could be the start of many more adventures to come!! We loved Eden and hope to return soon!!
