I was able to join Bridger on one of his field-trips this year. I was really excited since they were able to watch some of Christmas around the World with the BYU folk-dancers and then go to the Bean Museum. When we sat down to enjoy the show I realized Chad, one of the boys in my group, wasn't with us. The lights had gone down by this point and so I started walking and calling his name through the the aisles. People were getting annoyed and I know I couldn't continue to interrupt the show. I said a prayer asking that another mom had found him and let him sit with them. I had a horrible stomachache the entire show, I couldn't even enjoy it. After a long hour we met up as classes and another mom had returned him to Mrs. Rhodes, thank goodness!! The rest of the field-trip went great and I was glad I went!
Bridger had his first piano recital at the North Hampton House. He did a great time and we were so proud of him. We love his piano teacher, Megan Harmon! She makes it so fun for him which makes him looks forward to lessons and practicing!
For the neighborhood ladies Christmas party this year we joined the church's Christmas "Light the World" campaign. We each brought 2 items to fill 20 bags to donate to the Women's Center in SLC. It was a great night with a great purpose. It really brought the spirit of the season, I hope it's a new tradition!!
In Bridger's second grade class they were learning about Christmas traditions around the world. Nate volunteered to tell Bridger's class about Palau. He told them fun stories, answered questions and brought cooked rice with spam for each kid. We all had a great time visiting Bridger's class and Bridger was really proud of his dad!!
Nate's work bought Jazz tickets to enjoy throughout the season. We were able to benefit from it three times. We took the Bridger and McCoy twice and took our friends the Sincich's once. It was really fun to cheer on the Jazz and enjoy the time together!!
