We had a great and busy November!
It started off with a mission reunion. I have been feeling guilty for
the last couple of years that we have not had a mission reunion for a
while. When I got home we had a few and it has been about 10 years or
so. Having hosted one, I've been hoping someone else would do it, in
talking with Stephen Francis, he was kind of thinking the same thing.
Our mission president and his wife have not been in great health, so we
both felt like we needed to do it now. We did not have a great turnout
but it was great to get together with a few of our old mission friends.
Cassidy invited neighbors and friends over to do a book exchange. She had a carmel apple bar set up and the ladies brought books for someone else to enjoy over the Winter season. It was huge success!!
I was able to go on a McCoy's field-trip to the Discovery Gateway Children's museum. It makes for a long day but it's great to spend it with Coy and meet some of the friends he talks about from his class.
McCoy entered the Reflections Contest this year and won, " " for his drawing. We're proud of him for trying something new and for doing such a great job!
