MarketStar Achievers Club- Maui

Cass and I got to go with our MarketStar friends for one last trip. It was so nice of the Hansen's and the Bringhurts to watch the boys...again.  It happened to be back to our favorite place, Grand Wailea Maui. This trip was much different from our previous Achievers Clubs as there were only a few couples and it was mostly the people we have been good friends with for years. The van Uiterts, Koos's, Kenny's, Campbell's, Whipple's, and Howard's.
Day 1 we went to the beach to see tons and tons of sea turtles resting up on the shore and to Mama's fish house. Always the best. The food was amazing and we laughed so hard with our friends about all the good times we've had...and at the guy with the 3 inch eyebrows at the table near ours.
Day 2 we went wale watching and snorkeling near Lahina. The water was pretty rough and I along with several of our group got sea sick. That night we enjoyed our recognition dinner back at the Grand
Day 3 we had a blast going out to Ioa Valley State Park. We've never been out there and it was beautiful. That night we met the van Uiterts for dinner at Star Noodle and ended the night at Warren and Ananbelles magic show. It was the highlight of our trip. It was so freaking funny. I can't believe we've missed it the other times we've been to Maui.
On our last full day we went to the lava fields near Wailea and then to Big Beach and a cool black sand beach. It was such a good trip. As we were there we were all commenting on how we knew it would be our last and we've had a great ride with these lifelong friends that we've made at MarketStar.
The most memorial thing that happened on this trip was that Cass had her cover up stolen while at the pool. She went to security to see if it had been turned into the lost and found or if they could see who took it. They said it would be easiest to just get her a new one instead. Suddenly a awesome security guy was walking her through the shops getting her a new cover up that was much nicer than the one that was stolen. He decided that her backpack wasn't 'beachy'  enough for the resort so he gave her a new bag. Since she had left her flip flops with me at the pool, she had no shoes. He insisted that he get her some new shoes too. She drew the line at new shoes, but it was such a cool thing for them to do and a perfect example of the treatment we got the 3 times we've been to Grand Wailea.
