July 2019

In the heat of July, someone thought it was a good idea to host a basketball tournament in a big hot parking lot downtown SLC. McCoy, Jayden, and Brock had a team and battled hard all day. It was a couple miles away from my office so I headed down and watched the games. The boys battled hard all day. They did so great!

A few days later, I took Bridger and McCoy up to Brighton to hike to lakes Mary, Martha, and Catherine. When we got up there it was freezing, but it warmed up. By the time we got to lake Catherine, there was still too much ice on the trail to make it, so we took a detour and had a little lunch on a cool peak overlooking the resort.

Cass took the kids down to St. George for a weekend and went to the play "When you Wish" with the Bringhursts and Browns. She said it was the best one she has been to yet!

The family came up to my office one day to take a tour and take me to lunch. It was fun showing them the views down town from my window and take them around a bit where I walk every day. I love the Jazz mural on Main Street.

For Fathers Day, Cass gave me a Treager shop class to attend with Shaun Koos and Brent Kenney. I spend way too much time on that Traeger and take way too many pictures of the food I'm cooking. Sorry about that folks!

Cass organized a super nice service day for the kids. They went to the old folks home by Grandma Katherine's house and played with the seniors. The kids had a great time and we are so lucky to have such a thoughtful mom to help do things to make others days filled with Joy!
