July

July had its ups and downs, but despite Covid, we were able to still get out and enjoy things.

I went on an overnight trip with Abe Ford. We've always wanted to get to Silver Lake Glance and we made it up. It is so picturesque, We have a big photo of it in our basement and it was time to see it for myself. I'll be back!

Cass is starting to work for Steve at the Dixie Leadership camp in St.George. He's going to retire in the next few years so Cass is going to have him train her so she can take over when's he done. This year was like nothing they've had to deal with before, but it was still a great learning opportunity and she can't wait to help more next year.

Bridger wrapped up a great season of Baseball. It was something that he had wanted to do and he did great. He had some great hits and catches and it was super fun to go to the games and cheer him on!

Every year, our neighborhood does the cul de sac of fire. Dave Gibb and Jared Jensen do such an awesome job with a huge fireworks show. I decided this year to augment it by cooking pulled pork and baked beans for everyone. The turnout was not as huge as it had been in past years, but we had a great time. This is such a great neighborhood for our boys to grow up in! We ended the month with a out outdoor movie night with friends in the backyard. We also were able to get together with the Jacobsmeyers on the actual 24th for fireworks. There were no injuries so we were all happy about that. We are all a little afraid of fireworks after the 4th.
