Pole

Not every blog post is happy and this is one of those. I've been letting Bridger do a little bit of driving in parking lots from time to time. We usually just do circles around the church parking lot. On Sunday morning we were a little early for his deacons presidency meeting so I took us over to the jr high to kill some time. After we drove around a bit it was time to head back to the church. Like a moron, I had Bridger drive. He was doing great until we pulled into the parking lot. He panicked and hit the curb then took out a small tree. He tried to stop but hit the gas instead and drove into a light pole. There was another ward having sacrament at the time and which made it more HORRIBLE. The van is a goner, but we were SO blessed that it was not worse!! Bridger, if you're reading this, you need to know that this is not your fault at all. This is ALL on me. I should not have put you in that position. This is my mistake and you did nothing wrong and have nothing to be embarrassed about. Down the road I hope we can laugh about this, but for now the cut is fresh. I love you Bridger!
