A few things to note from August:
* Bridger and McCoy both did the 3v3 tournament through AF rec. Bridger's group was 7th-9th graders, which made it really difficult when they had to go against men;) McCoy was 5th-6th graders, so they had some tough games also. Overall they had a great time!!
*We were able to go to a taping of Studio C at BYU. This show happens to be one of the boys favorite shows to watch. It was fun to see what happens behind the scenes. Nate won a shirt for winning a song game when they were getting a scene ready. Luke and Drew were able to join us! We had to drive to Provo to take a covid test then wait to make sure we all could go. Then we had to drive back a few hours later for the taping-crazy times!!
*Abe has been begging Nate to go mountain biking with him. In August Nate rented a bike and went down to Thunder Mountain with Abe. They stayed the night in Cedar City with Ammon and went golfing. Then in the morning they hit the trail and did the loop. It was rougher than Nate wanted with his rear break going out on the rental bike mid-way through the trail. Having not really ridden a bike in 25 or so years took its toll. There were a lot of cool things to see but next time, maybe in a car or on a horse....
*McCoy had surgery to have his turbinites in his nose removed. He has always had a hard time breathing and after uncle Derek had his removed we had McCoy checked out. It was a rough day and has been a not so fun couple weeks for McCoy but he's excited to hopefully breathe better and we all hope he snores a little less going forward.
