The year is done and it ended on a highlight with turning the big 40!
I got Hamilton tickets for Cass for Christmas (ok, maybe I got them for myself a bit and gave them to her...) but it was so awesome! I've been a huge fan for a few years and we were not able to get tickets the last time the broadway show came to SLC. We were not going to miss it this time. It delivered!
During Christmas School break we did a few more family activities. We went to the Natural History Museum at the U to see the Egyptian exhibit. Bridger had wanted to be a Egyptologist when he grows up for a couple of years. That desire has faded but we really had a great time seeing the mummies! They also had other cool floors for their dinosaur museum , the natural history museum, and a Native American museum. We went to the zoo, which turned out to be a bit of a misstep. It was super cold and most of the animals were in hiding, but some were out. The monkey's were super fun to watch.
2021 was a fun year. We did a lot of family activities and even though there was some covid aftermath, we were still able to get out and enjoy things (sometimes with masks). Sports, family outings, 3 boys in school, trips to Cali, Huntsville, Arizona, and St. George, hikes, camping, and more sports have made for a busy and exciting year!
