Cass had leadership camp last week. She has been helping her dad with it for the last couple years and has a great time working with her dad. She helps line up the schools by visiting them through the year. She helps line up the schedule, events and speakers, this year she had Sam Penrod (Mrs. Holly's husband) speak to the group. And she does a lot of other things to make things work at the camp.
Me and the boys came down to crash the party and hang out for a couple days. Bridger and McCoy got to tag along the night they went to Tuachan to see Marry Poppins. on the last night. The next morning Bridger and McCoy and I went with Andrea and Ethan to Zion. We did the Zion overlook hike and then took the shuttle into the park to do the river walk. While in the shuttle we overheard some people tell us about a secret high to a water hole that very few people knew about. On the canyon road and the big bend just after the shuttle turn off there are a few parking spots, We did the hike and were rewarded with the coolest spot in the park that we only shared with a few other people. The boys slid down the rock, caught tad poles, and hung out for about an hour.
Later that night we went to Benja's with the adults for dinner. We got this great picture of all of us smiling like Grandad. We are funny, even if our kids don't believe it.
