All Star Weekend

When I was a kid, the NBA All-Star game was in SLC. I always thought it would be cool to be a part of it in some way. This year, the weekend was back in SLC and we knew we wanted our kids to be a part of it. So for a Christmas gift, we gave them tickets to the practice the morning of the game. Practice was held up at the U. Grandad came up and joined us for the fun!

We were able to get great seats right by the court, which was awesome. As we were walking in, Brian Beall and his boys were also walking in so we were able to sit with them for the event. After the practice, we went to lunch at Hires and then went to the Gateway to join the activities. It was NUTS. There were so many people there. We went to the Under Armor experience, checked out the snowboard rail competition, and saw a few other things. It was super cold though and we were happy to get back in the car. It was a great way to join in with all the NBA fans for a super cool unique experience!

The next weekend, Emma had her state swim meet. It was great to watch her swim one last time. She has been so dedicated and it's fun to watch that pay off and see her on the podium! Go Emma!!
