Coyote Gulch

I've wanted to backpack Coyote Gulch for several years. I got the chance to go with Abe and Jason Kitchen along with Jason's dad, brother, and Abe's Neighbor, Nate. It was so amazing.

We started by lowering our packs down the cliff and climbing through a crack in the wall. We then hiked down to the river bottom and followed it along for several hours that afternoon. We set up camp and watched a movie on one of the tents. The next morning we hiked some more and passed so many awesome arches, waterfalls, and cliffs. Jacob Hamblin arch was amazing and I want to go back again already. To get out, we had to scale up a cliff. We had to pull up Jason's dad and Nate who had super slick shoes. Then we hiked back to the trucks. Low spot of the trip...I tossed my pack into Abe's truck and shattered the back window. OUCH.

Can't wait to go back with my boys and show them how cool it is!
