The next morning it was rainy and wet, which made it awesome, as we went out to Chicken Corners. We had a great time driving the trails. The boys rotated through the cars and rode with Tyler as well as Jared in his side-by-side. At the end we walked out to the last chicken corner and took in the view for a while. Just as we were pulling into town that evening, the Jeep got really hot and lost all of its fluids literally as I pulled into our parking spot at the hotel. I can't believe how lucky we were to have Nate Greenwood with us. He tore into my engine and saw that it was the water pump. There were 3 parts stores in town. The 1st 2 did not have my part, but the last one did. I grabbed it right before they closed and he swapped out my water pump and serpentine belt in the parking lot with just a couple of tools...in the rain... He is such a stud.
The next morning the Roses headed home for Becca's farewell but the rest of us, Greenwoods, Clowards, Jensens, and Leifsons did the Dome Plateau. The trails were in rough shape so it was a bit more ambitious than the day before but we were all up to the challenge and made it through.
It was a great trip. High octane, lots of incredible views, cool sand caves and arches, and great friends. Moab is the best
