We had a lot going on in October:
- Landon and Mary brought their family out to see everyone. Sadly, they must have all got Covid while traveling and spent the whole week they were here, sick. We did go to see them, and they came to the Legacy pumpkin festival before they all started felling sick.
- Marshall had football. I coached the team with Matt Woolley. We had a great season and only lost 1 game! Marshall played great and had some awesome touchdowns catching and running the ball, and was the teams best flag puller.
- McCoy also had football with his buddies, and while his team was significantly smaller than most of the older teams they were playing, had a great season and made a playoff run. He also had a good fall soccer season, when he was able to play. He broke his toe early in the season and missed a bunch of games, but was back for the last few and his team needed him. They won enough games to stay D1 for next season.
- Cass went to Quaid's field trip at Hee-Haws, the bridal shower for Laryn Howell, and we went with the Ford's up to the Cabin to see the leaves and enjoy a soup dinner.
