McCoy and I went down to Kanab with Abe and Jefferson for a couple of great nights of camping. Bridger had to miss out because of Prom, and we missed him.
We camped out by the Wire Pass trailhead and hiked about 10 miles in Buckskin Gulch. It was so awesome. It's the longest slot canyon on earth. There were a lot of sections covered in water that was about waist-deep. It was FREEZING, but the boys did great and we pressed on. We then drove out to White Pocket. It was a super sandy, loose road to get out to it. Abes truck blew a tire on the way out. They were all pretty bald, and we barely made it out and back. That night, we camped near that trailhead and then headed back toward home. We wanted to hike Cedar Breaks, but the road was closed, to be opened 1 day later....
