California with MarketStar

In mid June we got to go to California with our friends from MarketStar. We stayed at the Grand California in Disneyland and spent 5 days in the park, went to the beach and spent a day at Universal Studios

This was our first time going to Universal. We loved it!

The food was great! We were excited to try Butter-Beer and the big Simpson doughnuts. Some of the rides were really fun, but some made us sick to our stomachs. The Harry Potter ride was awesome. 

 

 On the way back from Universal, we stopped at the Father of the Bride house. It was something that Cassidy was REALLY exited about and it did not disappoint.

 We had a great time at the park in Disneyland. We ate all of the good food that the parks have to offer. We ate at our favorite restaurant, The Blue Bayou. The boys were brave this year and went on all the big rides. 

We watched the fireworks from our room a few nights, but one night me and the boys stayed out late to watch the parade and see the fireworks. We were on the front row and it was awesome. Unfortunately, it was hard to pull them out of bed the next morning.

 On our beach day, we went with the Koos's and the Kenney's. They have boys close to our boys age and they had a great time playing on the beach. The water was cold, but it felt good to splash around after hanging out in the sun and sand for a while.

Back to Disneyland before we caught our flight home!

It was a great trip. We are always grateful to MarketStar for providing these opportunities for us. Can't wait until the next trip!
