For Fall Break we wanted to go on a little getaway as a family. Nate was able to get a room for us at the Zermatt in Midway for a few days. Nate had done a huge conference there with work, so they were kind enough to hook us up.
We had never ridden the Heber Valley Railroad so we took advantage of the situation and enjoyed the Halloween train. The ride wasn't scary at all and the boys loved dancing to the Halloween music. After the quick ride all the passengers got to pick a pumpkin. We had dinner at the Dairy Keen (home of the train) which kept with the train theme.
This hotel was amazing, it had everything!! We loved playing miniature golf, life-size checkers, shuffleboard but our favorite was the merry-go-round (we probably rode it 20 times). I should mention the swimming, the boys could've done that all day.
We took a stroll across the street to the Homestead to play in the leafs, look at their Halloween decoration and check out the Crater.
We had a great stay and a wonderful way to enjoy the fall season!
