We had a great time in St. Geezy for
Spring Break this year hanging out with the Bringhursts and the Browns. It is
always good to get down to the warmer weather and we've had our eyes on a few
activities down there that we've never done with our kids.
We took our boys down to Snow Canyon on one of the days. It was great
weather to hike around. We took the Butterfly Trail to the lava tubes and hiked
through the cave, hiked up on an outlook on the top of the Petrified Dunes
which was awesome. Then we hung out in the sand dunes just long enough to fill
everyone’s clothes and the van full of sand. After leaving the park we went to
Angelica’s which is our new favorite Mexican place anywhere.
The next day we went to the Glitter Mountain just out side of St. George. It
was a long drive on a bumpy dirt road, but it was kind of neat to check out. The
boys had fun digging out some gypsum from the side of the hill. We were glad to
make out it out of there without getting busted for trespassing.
Finally, Cass and I were lucky enough to have Deanna watch the kids for an
afternoon so we could do a trip to the temple.
