In addition to Spring Break and Easter, we've been busy running around with the kids.
McCoy started Baseball. Some days have been warm, others like these ones have been FREEZING. One thing that has been consistent is that McCoy can hit and boy can he run. It has been fun watching his team and seeing him run the bases. Go Pirates!! Bridger has been busy too. He had his piano recital on the 27th. He worked so hard on his song and did awesome. He also had his time machine project in baseball. He chose Jackie Robinson and had a good time learning about him and the obstacles he overcame. Drew was P.T. Barnum.
The boys have been asking us about TV dinners for the past couple of months. After watching people eat them in movies like Matilda, they wanted to try them. So we went to the store and let them pick out whatever they wanted. It turned out to be a hit. They loved them and want to do it again soon.
Also, we've started to finish the basement. We've been wanting to do it for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Cass and Bridger can't wait for a reading nook. McCoy and I can't wait for a big screen to watch sports on. Marshall is not sure what is going on and thinks that a monster lives in the basement and is making a lot of noise down there. We are fine letting him believe that if it keeps him out of the construction of the basement.
