Kicking off summer

This is a great time of year. It is getting warm. We can hang out in the yard. The basement is coming along. and we've had a blast watching our kids in their spring sports and school is now out!

The boys wrapped up soccer. It was McCoy's last year getting coached by coach Mike. It has been great watching him play. This season he was scoring about 15 points a game and beating the other team single handedly. Graham was on the team as well this year and did great. Bridger also did spring soccer and was coached by Dave Gibb. They had a great season and Bridger did great playing forward as well as goalie from time to time. Again, awesome the he can have a cousin and best buddy on the team.

The last week of school, the boys had their dance festival at Shelley. They love getting ready for this every year and it's fun for us to go watch. Bridger and Drew got to do the pledge to start the show this year. Then McCoy's class danced to songs from The Greatest Showman. Bridger's class danced to The Champion by Carrie Underwood. Bridger has loved school this year. Mrs. Alger was his teach and he had Drew in his class. She was really fun for the boys and had a cool super hero theme throughout the year. McCoy was in Mrs. Biglers class with Graham. She was sweet to McCoy all year and was a fun teacher as well

To kick off our summer festivities, I took Bridger and McCoy to one of my favorite places, Sliver Lake in AF canyon. Abe Ford brought his boys too and we made an afternoon out of it. It was a bit tough for the boys who were pretty tired about 3/4 the way to the lake, but they toughed it out and were rewarded at the end with an awesome view.

Finally, Cass is the best mom in the world. Look at the fun little stuff she had set out for the boys on their 1st day of summer.
