Busy May

We had a really busy month in May.

The boys wrapped up their spring soccer. McCoy had a great season with Northern Peaks. This is is 2nd year playing with this team. We really like Darin, the coach. We are getting to know the boys on the team a bit better this year. McCoy plays forward and loves to play up front.

Bridger played with the same group of boys that he had in the fall as a part of the Magma Bridger's. Hugo was the coach and often wore this sweet hat made from the guts of a soccer ball.So much fun to have his friends Drew, Bentley, Coleman, and Jackson on his team. The team was a little short on players so McCoy also got to play forward with them most of the Spring games and it was awesome to get to watch both of them at the same time.

Cass and I went to the John Michael Montgomery concert. It was a bit cold, but it was super fun. He put on a great show and to top it off, we sat in front of the sign language interpreter who was EXTREMELY entertaining.

Quaid has been a lot more active this spring and is crawling all over the place. He is so fun to watch and Marshall is getting a kick out of following him around. He has really been into the jumper swing and has been so fun to watch bounce around!

Finally, we had the pinewood derby. We were nervous that it would not happen this year with the church getting away from the Boy Scouts. Bridger did not care if his car was fast and just really wanted an awesome looking pizza car. McCoy on the other hand, was only about speed and we worked really hard to have an aerodynamic car that would be fast. In the end, Bridger's car was ridiculously fast and took 2nd overall. McCoys car was pretty quick, but failed to make the podium. We all had a great time and were so glad we got to do the derby. Also, it was so awesome to have 3 grandparents there to support us and cheer us on!!!
