We had a truly magical time at the happiest place on earth! We've been DYING to go to Disneyland for a couple of years but have not been able to go because of stinking COVID. But they've loosened their covid restrictions recently and the time was finally right to go!
We drove through St. George and spent the night at the Bringhurst's and then hit the road early. Our 1st stop was Trestles beach in San Clemente to see the ocean and hunt for some sea glass. It was a little cooler than we'd have preferred but we had a good time and then jumped in the car for dinner. It was the Chinese New year so we found a Chinese restaurant that turned out to be amazing and affordable. We had the place almost to ourselves. Then we checked into our hotel, Best Western Raffles, and prepped for the next day.
We hit the park early every day and did 2 days at Disneyland and 1 day at California Adventure. Luckily for us, Quaid is still small enough for us to get stroller passes for the big rides. This will be the last time we can take advantage of that, so we soaked it up and got stroller passes everywhere we could!. This was super helpful with the new Star Wars Rise of the Resistance ride that was super crowded. Marsh was big enough to ride pretty much all of the rides this time which was awesome! We went non-stop pretty much the whole time we were there and the boys were all great sports! One highlight was that we could not get reservations for the Blue Bayou a head of time as they are always booked up. I went three times to get us in with no success. Cass decided to try her luck, suddenly she calls me and tells me that she's gotten us a table and we can go eat. It was a Disneyland miracle!
Favorite rides: Nate- Star Tours & Rise Cass- Rise & Space Mountain Bridger- Space Mountain & Incredicoaster McCoy- Space Mountain & Incredicoaster Marsh- Thunder Mountain & Matterhorn Bobsleds Quaid- Pirates and Train you ride around the park
Can't wait to go back!!!!
