I took the older 3 down to Moab for the weekend. It was still cold, but it was great weather to hike around for a couple of days! We spent day 1 seeing Arches. We hiked delicate arch, double arch, window arch, Park Ave and others. It was an awesome day. At the end of the day we came back into town and had Pizza and watched tv in the hotel.
The biggest goal of the trip was to see mesa arch at sunrise. We got up super early and had breakfast then hit the road. Mesa arch was amazing and did not disappoint.A huge snow storm was coming in late in the afternoon so we decided to see what we could get in before noon and then hit the road. We did a few other short hikes in the park, checked out the shafer switchbacks and hit the road.
It was a great quick trip! We are trying to knockout all 5 parks this year. We'll see how it goes.
